We offer all new patients a free consultation with our Treatment Coordinator, Joanna Kettle. We understand that each person is an individual. She will discuss with you the various options available to be seen at the practice to suit your needs. Click here for further information. Ruthin Dental Practice Memberships This Membership has a number of benefits including: Great savings Spreads the cost Gives piece of mind You do not have to be dentally fit to join It is simple to set up It acts as a good incentive to attend regularly Routine appointments with the dentist and hygienist The membership includes: Routine appointments with the dentist include - Examination of all the teeth and gums - All necessary x-rays - Oral cancer screening Hygienist appointments to suit the individuals needs for cleaning and help with the home care for your mouth. Free emergency appointments during normal office hours Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance to offer support and assistance to dental plan patients who request treatment following a dental trauma and/or dental emergency or oral cancer. Redundancy protection for your monthly plan payments for up to 12 months. 20% discount on our private fees for routine treatment and hygiene work not covered by the plan.
All this for a reasonable monthly fee
The cost of the initial dental assessment is £46.00. Members can enjoy great savings on their clinically necessary dental treatment but these savings do not apply to cosmetic work or implants. Initial visits with the hygienist maybe chargeable before patients can take advantage of the free six monthly appointments but the discount will apply to these. A full fee list is available on request from our Front desk Team.

NHS

Fee paying NHS patients will pay one of 3 charges depending on their treatment needs. Since 1st April 2006 NHS dental treatment costs have been organised under a simplified system which groups treatment into three price bands. Band 1 = £14.00. Examination, case assessment and report, x-rays, oral hygiene instruction, adjustment to dentures and basic scale and polish. Band 2 = £45.00. Advanced scale and polish, permanent fillings, extraction of teeth, oral surgery. Band 3 = £195.00. Crowns, bridges, full or partial dentures. We think our Plan and Private options provide a good alternative to NHS treatment and have a number of options to suit all budgets and circumstances.
